I have a BFA in painting from Maine College of Art.

My primary interests as a visual artist are currently using collage techniques with paint, exploring the relationship between materials used and ideas expressed, and visual art as an alchemical process of transmutation.

In my process I use a combination of controlled techniques and random techniques (drips, splashes, etc.) to generate irresolvable visual complexity, which I then draw together into a unit by editing.
