I am a professional technical writer, despite the fact that I do a good deal more programming and design these days than writing. Someday, when I get off my ass about it, I will hopefully be a professional other-things-writer too.

I love words and language, the sounds and shapes of language as it moves. I struggle to express things that cannot be expressed linearly in words, seeking a poetics to voice that which is too complex to annunciate.

Writing things down in little essays and snips of poetry helps me to think, organize my thoughts into something share-able.
